Using metrics graphite jar with Cassandra

Hello All,

I am new to Graphite and metrics and I am stuck in a problem.

Let me explain my landscape to you. I have a 3 node Cassandra cluster whose metrics I want to view in Graphite.

I have graphite installed on a separate metrics server i.e. the Cassandra nodes do not have graphite installed on them. 

They only have the metrics graphite jar in the lib folder. I have a metrics reporter config yaml file which points to the graphite server ip for the hosts parameter and Cassandra is restarted.

When I open the graphite-web browser of my metrics server, how do I ensure that the cassandra metrics are being reported to this server?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
