Reset metrics on runtime

Hello everybody!

I've seen a thread already asking about it, however it dates from 2012.

I'm trying to figure out if is there a way to reset some metrics on runtime.

If this isn't possible, is there a workaround, like destroying the current metrics and creating new ones.

With HealthCheck it seems to be easy: just destroy HealthCheckRegistry after each checking.

But what about regular metrics?
