Weather Types lookup API?

I am using the 3-hourly site specific forecast to get the current weather and forecast for next few hours.

It returns a field for weather type.  This is documented here:  https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/datapoint/support/documentation/code-definitions

Is this reference data available via API?
