503 error when going through proxy

Hi, I'm trying to access datapoint via a json proxy however its always returning a 503 when i do so. The proxy itself is fine and I can see the request from it to datapoint. When I specify an invalid key datapoint correctly returns a 404 so I know its definitely hitting the service.

Am I missing something obvious?

I resolved this by writing a PHP wrapper which called datapoint instead of using the proxy. Worked nicely and incorporates a check for the empty responses too before my javascript front end gets near it.
