In setting up my site, I made some mistakes entering my latititude/longitude. I sent a couple of emails to the feedback link, but received no response.

Please delete 905916001 and 911266001.

Thanks,

There appears to be an anomaly in the edit function in that if you alter the latitude/longitude setting, it creates a new site. I, like Tom, edited my original set-up after discovering I'd entered the wrong latitude and then discovering no change, tried editing it again. It would be good if the edit form threw up a warning that this would happen and gave a an opportunity (or automatically)  deleted the original site. The moral of the story is to check, and double check the Lat/Long figures at the initial set-up!

Tony explained it far better than I did. Everytime I entered the Lat/Long incorrectly, it created a station. As a result, I have 3 stations instead of one. The two I've noted below should be removed.

Thanks.

Hi Tom,

I will remove these sites now. We are aware of this issue, this was initially in place to keep the continuity of Climate records, for example if someone moves house they can just change the location and have a new site whilst also retaining the previous records. We have learnt ehilst it may be useful for some, it causes problems for a lot more people creating duplicate sites. We are planning to upgrade the site in the very near future and this feature will be removed.

All the best
