Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum and I have just joined WOW a couple of weeks ago.

I have been posting bulk file uploads to WOW for about 10 days now which upload successfully using files from my Davis AWS.  The station is a Vantage Pro2.

However, as yet I am not able actually to see my site on the main WOW world map.  Am I missing something obvious?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

When you registered your site did you have the Default Access Level set as Public or Private?

You can amend this by going to your site dashboard and then Edit Site. The option is under number 3.

If you amend it to Public you will be able to see it on the map.

Also how often are you uploading data? As the map will show the data for the last hour. If you don’t have any data reported for the time selected on the homepage then it won’t show.

Many Thanks
Maria

Hi Maria,

The default access level was already set to Public when I registered the site, but I checked again to be on the safe side and set it again as Public then saved.  A manual bulk data upload is being performed once a day but I also have Cumulus running and configured to send data to the WOW site every 15 min.   In Cumulus, I used as my site ID the 32 alphanumeric string allocated to me by WOW during registration and 123456 as the PIN.

Many thanks
Steve

Hi again WOW support team,

I'm still having trouble seeing my own weather site on the WOW main map and now I think this may be related to the login stage.  As you know from previous messages I had Sandaysoft's Cumulus app configured to send data to the WOW site.  I am now trying another approach:  I have disabled data transfer to WOW in Cumulus and I have Meteobridge Pro set up and configured to send data to a number of different weather servers, as well as WOW. As you can see from the attached jpeg snapshot, either the WOW site ID or the WOW PIN is incorrect.  I tried the WOW sit ID both with and without the hyphens in the long alphanumeric string. To no avail.

Meteobridge is already working seamlessly with Wunderground, AWEKAS and CWOP (see attached again) so the issue is unlikely to be with the Meteobridge configuration.

Any help to get me up and running on WOW would be appreciated, otherwise I will have to give up because I'm sure the issue lies with the WOW site credentials and not with a problem at my end.

Thanks
Steve
