* Real life Automation problems and their solutions

Quotes from the Reviewers

“I find this to be a very pragmatic, hand’s on book for those who want
to extend their QTP skills beyond basic expert view programming. This
book is written by a QTP master for those who wish to eventually
become masters themselves.” – Terry

“Tarun Lalwani has singlehandedly helped thousands of people to expand
their knowledge of QuickTest Professional. Here is a book the
automated testing community has been crying-out for. This book will
help QTP practitioners, from beginner to expert. I have used QTP from
V6.0 and during the review I learned something from every chapter.” –

Dear Admin,

I am currently staying and working in Netherlands and really interested to buy this book. Unfortunately I could not found this book in the stores here in Amsterdam and I was wondering whether it can be delivered from India or not?

I am ready to pay the shipping charges too. Pleas advice.

*** Any one from the group, could you please help me to get this?

Thanks for everything in advance.

Although the book has numerous English grammar and syntax errors, it
is a needed and valuable source of information.
No one should be asking for an e-version of the book for free!
The author deserves royalties for his efforts.
I hope he writes a much more advanced version that has been proof
read.

The book is available on Amazon and a simple search of the web will
direct those looking for the book to the author's website.

I bought this book in the month when it was launched in US market at a
cost of 3K, I think you can also try to buy this with the help of any
of your friends staying in US.

I think we should not buy this book as all tips and tricks are copy paste work from forums

Its far better to look for Dani's Book or Anshu arrora 's website
or learn HTML ,DOm or any scriping language like javascript and vbscript with some website coding to get internals of a HTML page

If it costs 200 - 300 rupees its ok to buy
But publisher is asking 3000 which is not good

Please visit advanced QTP website and HP QTP 10.0 help

u will lots of real time example and solution

Also sit in front of ur PC and use brain

And my suggestion is do not support any person who is demanding such a high price for only simple tips and tricks which are now out dated ,

For Author ::

Be a greate person by reducing price charging this much amount is not good  esp. in india

and i think u havn't written anything good to ask for 3000, all are copy paste from some websites

V.J.

Well the book costs 595/- in India and not 3000, you need to know
things before you point out against any one.

As far as your other comment are concerned I would leave that to other
readers to find out how much true they are :)

I purchased this book few days back, and would recommend to purchase this book to others too. I got this book for INR 505 only ;) Best thing is, every feature of qtp is at a single place, may be it's a copy-paste, but I don't care, nobody was thinking of book on qtp earlier, Tarun has atleast took a step in that direction, and has done hard work in arranging the material and giving that a shape of book. Come on Guys, we spend a lot on movies and beer :), and we should pay the author for his efforts.

This book is a good resource for QTP people.

BUT, I feel that websites such as AdvancedQTP, Relevant Codes and
KnowledgeInbox (Tarun's) already contain all information that is in
the book. Finding everything and knowing the order is tricky though.

BUT also, I just looked up that training at HP costs $3000+. QTP Book
costs a fraction of that, and it will ALWAYS be with you. If you take
QTP seriously, then this purchase will only make things easier.

if it is near abt Rs 400-500 , then i suggest its a must buy thing
for a fresher as well as people having no real time experience in
automation,

for advanced reader , i think we shud try to use some free tools as
these licensed software are pulling out money from india by asking
huge amt as license fee,
