Presentation: What's New in .Net Mobile Development
There has never been a better time to develop .NET-based software for mobile devices.  The 2014 edition of Microsoft’s Build developer conference introduced new updates to Windows and Windows Phone.  These included new language targeting Windows Phone and a convergence of the Windows and Windows Phone platforms.  Also announced at Build were improvements to mobile services running on Microsoft Azure.  Backends for mobile applications are now simpler to develop and less costly to operate.  This session will discuss what these new features mean to developers and to the users of their applications. We will look at how to develop connected applications in multiple languages that run across devices and platforms.
