It's been a while, but don't worry Omega development is still going strong.
Am pleased to announce the v0.7.1 release with many new features and
improvements. It has been tag'd on github and deployed to
omegaverse.info.

- New galaxy effects
- Ship smoke effects (rendered when ship < 50% HP)
- Better ship explosion & destruction effects

- Many audio effects for various events
- Fixed planet spin
- Many more gfx and frontend optimizations, added mechanism to enforce
constant framerate in UI
- Added canvas mouse hover detection, used for various effects
- Locations following other locations can now orient themselves towards
their target as they move (nico)
- Added support for entities to follow others in the UI (nico)
- Packaging up the project and submitting it to Fedora is in process,
