For Everything. Apply a template to all posted Meetups

I am trying to get people to come to events and what not for a back country meetup. I noticed that the post a meetup section on the website and thus any API (REST or otherwise) will be severely limited. I would like to be able to customize a template with sections that must be filled out by an event organizer or at least be able to add required fields to an HTML section. Is is possible to get this added to the site and any code API?
