So after looking into the issue, our support team has determined that it looks like the widget is attempting to load through an "iframe". The problem here is that the contents of that iframe is entirely empty, so there's something wrong with the iframe itself, not the Shopify platform or the CSS code involved. I would recommend getting in touch with the designers of the Meetup app and let them know that this is the issue you are having.

What is the chapter url name you are using to generate the widget? Are you able to see the widget content generated when you visit http://www.meetup.com/meetup_api/foundry/ and preview the urlname?
