/find/groups with topic_id always returns an empty (but successful) response

Both with curl and the API console, /find/groups with only a topic_id (in the console) and additionally a key (with curl) return a 200 OK response, but no results.

The topic IDs I've tried it with are valid, returned from calls to /find/topics, and if I omit the topic_id and its value, I get the default location-based set of results.

I've run out of things to try. Help?

What topic id are you trying to query for groups with?

Here's an example for search for groups tagged with the topic "moms" https://secure.meetup.com/meetup_api/console/?path=/find/groups&topic_id=407

Cleared it up. I was not aware that the results would automatically be limited in geographical scope. Using "global" radius I get the expected results.
