The software installs at a provider office, it logs into our server
every 5 minutes and downloads any jobs / labs / etc to the provider
office over a secure connection.
Once the job is at the provider it can be scheduled to automatically
print or write to a PDF or Tiff so the Provider can index the file
directly to their office system.

We did not think our providers would manually login to review or print
lab results. There is an expectation our organization set some time
ago. We can fax, print or manually courier documents to the provider
offices, it would be unacceptable to most to have to login and get their
own data.
Longer term we are working with a VT initiative to interface with
multiple provider systems via HL7 but that appears to be a long road.
We have one office that was having over 1000 failed fax attempts per
month and hours of rework, they are now getting all the files with the
Net Delivery client.
