Unfortunately this one doesn't serve local files. For that you need a media server installed on your device. Pixel Media Server is a good free option. BubbleUpnp free version too can be installed and left running while you actually use MediaHouse.

I evaluated this and Bubble at the same time and selected this one for purchase based on its simplicity of use. I intend for my girlfriend to use it on her phone too. I've been using it happily for a couple days until today when I noticed for the first time, wait a minute, I can't select my local phone as a "Play From". Does this program really not serve up local files? I know Bubble does, and I guess I just assumed this one did too. Please tell me I've just misconfigured something.
