Is this app dead in development? Was thinking of going pro.

So I have been using this app for awhile. Its a great way to have my DD-Wrt NAS stuff be accessed and zapped over to my Samsung TV. Was thinking of finally going pro.. till I started reading that updates have stopped and kitkat support etc. So before I really go pro here. Is work still being done here? I mean not even chromecast support which Bubble UPNP least has, and is a free app I have to use.
