Play downloaded videos

When I long-click a video and download to the device, how can it then be played? It seems I have to install a separate video player to play the m4v file... I hope mediahouse can play videos that it downloaded. Can it?

The reason I ask: I have serviio at home. Mediahouse works great. Sometimes we will take the tablet on the road, and want to cache some movies in the tablet for offline viewing.
