Search seems to search both music and movies

We I go into either my music library or movie library and perform a search, it still looks in both music and movie .. is this by design ?

Also I do a search like Red hot in my music folder, and it finds all kind of non Red hot .. not sure if it does not search with Like but looks for exact match ?
