Your MediaServer:
I use an VU+ Duo Receiver with VTI 4.2.1 Image as MediaServer

Hi, when i add new content to a folder on my server that is in my movies-library then the movie information in this folder isn't correct any more. Everything after the new item seems to be shifted. I need to rescan every single item ...
Is there a workaround?

greets
Andreas

Hmm, looks like this MediaServer is re-using the unique Ids that it gave to another movie when a new movie is added. I'll check on this and see if app can support an alternate way (may be name matching) of recognizing items that have info.

thanks,

Sounds good. That would be a bug in the server... Is there a quick way to check this out?

Unfortunately no way in the app to check that. The info is so non user friendly that I never thought of exposing it on UI.

Unless you have root access to the device and could open up media house database via apps like ES Film Explorer.

Sorry, I meant ES File Explorer.

I wouldn't put that in my UI either^^

I have all of my devices rooted. I'll check that out tomorrow.

I am having the same issue. Every time I add movies to the DLNA device around half of the movies now have the wrong information attached to them. It's taking me 30 min plus to re-scan each of the items to get the correct information. I'm using the paid app on a NeoTV. Please advise how to get this fixed.
