This morning I had:
- Yellow-rumped warbler
- Blue-gray gnatcatcher
- Brown Thrasher
- Blue Jay
- Barn Swallow
- Blue-Winged Teal
- Ruby-crowned kinglet
- Gold-crowned kinglet
- House wren
- House finch
- American Goldfinch
- Red wing blackbird
- Common grackle
- Fish crow
- Northern Cardinal
I've also seen Towhees recently, and may have heard a Norther Parula this morning. In past years there's been a good variety of warblers in the spring and flycatchers / wading birds in the summer. The retaining wall gives you some nice canopy sight-lines to help for days when you're suffering from warbler neck.
As Doug says, this is a surprisingly good birding place, especially now that the remedial work has come to an end.
If you bird there and use eBird, please use the eBird Hotspot. It's "https://ebird.org/hotspot/L3197511." Official eBird name is "Watkins Ponds - King Farm Stream Park." Mark Rositol has 90 species there.
