White-throated sparrows seemed to predominate the chorus in the yard
this evening after the rain stopped.

I noticed that some of them seemed to be singing an octave or two
lower than their brethren and wondered about that...a quick search for

do white-throated sparrows sing in different octaves

yielded nothing of note :)

Anyone in need of a Research Thesis topic feel free...
