Rough-legged Hawk at Irvine Nature Center

The Rough-legged Hawk was being mobbed by a single American crow on the far end of the South Meadow approximately 700 feet away from me. As it circled just above the tree tops I had a clear view of the dark patches at the wrists of the nearly white wing linings. The belly was dark. In less than a minute it retreated east into the Caves Farm property (private) and I could hear another pair of crows calling in alarm. No pics!
