Another very pleasant census at Masonville today, with most of the action right behind the Education Center. Highlights:

American Wigeon 1
Common Tern ~70 nesting on offshore barge
Least Tern 1
Willow Flycatcher 1

Orchard Orioles and Northern Mockingbirds were everywhere. There also seemed to be more Eastern Kingbirds and Blue Grosbeaks than usual.

I saw evidence of nesting (nests, chicks, adults carrying food) for Canada Goose, Mallard, Osprey, Common Tern, Northern Rough-winged Swallow, Barn Swallow, Carolina Chickadee, and American Robin.
