Hi,

Is it possible to generate CFG using a free or an open-source tool? For now, there is only support for IDA-pro and ninja-binary. The free versions of these tools do not seem to be usable (in particular get_cfg.py fails).

How much effort will it take to use another tool, if there is?
Any suggestion?

There is an effort to port CFG recovery to use DynInst, which is open source. There was a PR here (https://github.com/trailofbits/mcsema/pull/386) which is continuing to be developed and should be resubmitted when it is more complete.
