PRESS RELEASE: Gospel Choir Community Concert and Spaghetti Dinner - March 8th at 5:00 pm

The MCHS Gospel Choir will be performing this year's show for the East Tennessee community on March 8th, 2014 at 5:00 pm in the auditorium at McMinn Count High School in Athens, TN.  There will be a free spaghetti dinner after the concert in the cafeteria at the conclusion of the concert.  Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door or from one of the choir members.

This year's theme is "Worship is a Lifestyle," encouraging members of the community to offer their lives up as worship and not simply for two hours on Sunday or Wednesday nights.  The choir is made up of students from various area schools, including McMinn County High School, McMinn Central, High School, Meigs County High School, and also several area home-schooled students.  They are an after school group that dedicate their fall to learning music and preparing for the spring tour season, and their weekends in the Spring to go out into the community and sing for area churches.  The choir was founded in 2008 and has continued to grow and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ since.
