Receive following error when running "Gaussian Kernel Density of Sampling Localities" tool:

Executing: PseudoabsenceSelectionKD2 G:\species_presence_data\2013_Redkite_Sightings.shp bias_file G:\species_presence_data F:\slope.asc 30

Please define the projection inF:\slope.asc

Anybody able to shed some light on this? had little to no success in bias grid creation and find little guidance in literature on creation (Have read Elith and Dudik papers etc)
Many Thanks, Llion

I'm getting the same error, and I'm having trouble figuring out a way around it as well.

Did you just download and install the new ArcGIS 10.3? I'm thinking that it doesn't work with that version of arc?

I had the same problem. In this case, you have to define the projection of slope.asc (read lines 8 and 9).

I hope it helps

If you add a raster file instead of an asc grid it works - also, I recommend creating separate folders for each bias file as it will throw an error and not be able to delete previously made files/folders.
