Hello all,

i was trying to perform Moran's I for spatial autocorrelation. i have presence points. but i cant understand how to create binary presence and pseudo absence data for moran's I and create random background points within an area of 50 km radius from the point of occurrence for species.

I would be thankful if anyone can help me.

You can easily create random points on a raster using the randomPoints() function in the dismo package in R.
