MaxEnt data preparation course

Hi All,

Just to let you know I'm running another MaxEnt data prep course. It's face-to-face and one day long. It will be taking place in London on November 23rd. The structure of the course is as follows:

Morning session -  an introduction to ArcGIS and familiarisation of the interface
Afternoon session 1 - MaxEnt, a brief overview of how MaxEnt works
Afternoon session 2 - Using ArcGIS geoprocessing tools to prepare data and using bespoke tools to batch data

Please note that this course focuses on understanding how to prepare data for maxent. Although tools exist to do this (SDMtoolbox) you will gain a greater understanding of GIS principles, ArcGIS and MaxEnt. The course is designed for beginners.
