Using R to run MAXENT

Hi All,

Is there some kind of instruction file/tutorial that is a step by step guide to using R to run MAXENT...

I have basic experience with R but am finding it hard to track down informative and cohesive guidelines for using R with MAXENT.

Hi Amber,

You can use Biomod2 package built in R in which MaxEnt is implemented. You can find some great tutorials in the below link. Also find the attached docs..

The dismo package’s vignette is a good starting. point. You can also check out ENMeval’s vignette:

ENMeval runs many Maxent models and has the user choose an optimal one given evalution stats. It also easily enables cross-validation techniques, including spatial ones.
