Backgound points

My question is that, how should I select the number of background points for species that is assumed to be newly invading the region?

Hi Hira,

I think that the spatial and environmental distribution of your background points will be more important than their number. This paper may help: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.2041-210X.2010.00036.x/abstract
