Issues with maven-android-plugin 4.x.x on Intellij/Android Studio

Hello,

I have a project running fine on top of android-maven-plugin 3.8.2 in Intellij. I want to upgrade to 4.x.x but I'm having problems after importing the sample projects into the IDE.

While it compiles at the command line, intellij is not finding the compiled R class. I tried to set the assets path, and the output directory on Intellij, but I could not make it work yet.

Any thoughts about it?
