This is sort of short notice but I was thinking about what we could use as a tool that we don't have. I know that they are not hard to build but the time is short so it is not an option now.

I'm looking for a PC Power supply tester that just plugs into the supply provides it a load on all of it's busses and indicates in some way that the supply is working. We dont need a quality of power indication just that there is the proper voltage at the terminals.

If we don't get one to borrow it may become a future Electronics project for the space.

Reply if you can provide and I'll make arrangements for pickup and return.

Peter is looking for a load tester and measuring device, not a power supply.

I have never seen one.

I have seen them in shops that actually do repair. not common and not a normal consumer purchase.  Way more common in the old AT supply days. It takes the guesswork from trying to make loads and take measurements to checkout all of the connections at the same time
