Maui Makers Announces Four new SIGs (Special Interest Groups)

Maui Makers is planning on creating four new once-a-month SIGs;

Heavy Metal: which will center around the metal working activities of Welding, Forging, Machining, and Fabricating.
Wood Craft: which will center around the wood shop and all of its possibilities.
Open Source Computing: will center around using free-software tools and creative programming.
Alternative Energy: which will center around clean and alternative energy - technology.

SIGs provide a means for members with a special interest in specific areas to interact and share their enthusiasm,skills and knowledge. Often, a collaborative project will evolve from this interaction.

SIGs are normally held weekday evenings but can also be held before and after open hours on weekends.
