Latest tool added to the shop

Here is a photo of the latest tool a 20" Craftsman Contractor's Scroll Saw on loan from Marg. It had a problem that was created by Com Ed in Illinois with a power serge. The serge failed the motor control board at full speed which cause it to break a link.

  Fellow Maker Brian Verkaart helped me by machining a replacement on his CNC. I ordered a new motor drive from Automation Direct and now it is back up to its former performance level. 

You can look forward to Scroll and Band saw classes  coming up in the near future.
