Raspberry Pi Project Help for space

Maui Makers is in need of a little help. On our back burner for a while has been a Pi photo server for displaying on a monitor..

We have the PI,Monitor, Memory cards and USB drive 

Here are the build specifications:

• Unit must operate headless ( no mouse or keyboard) PI will have an external PB to initiate shutdown 
• Unit will not require internet or network access to modify data or operate.
• Data files are to be located on a USB flash drive so update is easy and off line 
• Two separate builds one for video with sound and one for images
• Data drives will be named (maybe PI-Photos  & PI-Video) and file names TBD

Developer will be allowed to have contact information in the display images or on the video credits  

This Display will be part of our permanent outreach tool kit

First steps are underway  Mount and case have been printed  Ron R has offered to help with the programming .  We now need content creators and editors. We have a library of past and current images of our makers in action We don't have much in the way of video  content to create a short length freestanding video loop.

Two restrictions all content will be transferred to MMI ownership for use and credit will be given to all makers who help in visual form during the presentation  no actual remuneration for effort or time.

The BOD of MMI has final edit control for content and message.
