MathJax poor alignment with surrounding Lato font

Don't know if anyone has gotten this issue, but Mathjax does weird rendering on my website (It can be found here)

Image for convenient purpose: before MathJax rendering, everything looks fine. (image on the left)

As soon as MathJax render, there is weird sliding box appears on top. (image on the right).





Looks to me that MathJax box is constrained within the size of the web font but it actually appears bigger? And also some base alignment is also terrible as well...

Any suggestions on how I can fix this issue? It does not look like a hard one to fix...

This is due to the 

.math {
  overflow: auto;
}

CSS in the main.css file for your site.  Removing that CSS should resolve the problem for you.
