Dear All,
I’m going to make some Works inside of a dehydrator (please see attachment), the questions are:
Please escuse my language, i’m not native speaker (or writer :D )
Thank in advance for your cooperation.
Hi, P.Number and F number are different and the numbers cannot be same and substituted. For ERNiCrMo-3 F-Number is 43. For A number You can check with the QW-442 along with your Filler metal certificate to compare the chemical composition.Since it is a nickel based alloy, you check with the composition of A number 10 requirments.
Pls.find below the extraction of ASME appropriate sections.
QW-404.37 A change in the composition of the depositedweld metal from one A-Number in table QW-442 to 65 any other A-Number, or to an analysis not listed in the table. Each AWS classification of A-No. 8 or A-No. 9 analysis of table QW-442, or each nonferrous alloy in table QW-432, shall require separate WPS qualification. A-Numbers
QW-404.5 (Applicable only to ferrous metals.) Achange in the chemical composition of the weld deposit from one A-Number to any other A-Number in table QW-442. Qualification with A-No. 1 shall qualify for A-No. 2 and vice versa. The weld metal chemical composition may be determined by any of the following: (a) For all welding processes—from the chemical analysisof the weld deposit taken from the procedure qualification test coupon. (b) For SMAW, GTAW, and PAW — from the chemicalanalysis of the weld deposit prepared according to the filler metal specification, or from the chemical composition as reported either in the filler metal specification or the manufacturer’s or supplier’s certificate of compliance.
Thanks & Regards, (Karthik)

Subject: Re: [MW:7103] F-No&A-No of ERNiCrMo-3
Dear Raghuram sir,
I have reviewed my WPS and the following values observed.
Specification (SFA) : A 5.14(GTAW)
AWS classification : ER-NiCrMo-3(GTAW)
Trade Name : Thermanit625(GTAW)
Filler metal product form : Solid (GTAW)
Chemical composition in % for GTAW: C-0.008%, Si-0.06%, Mn-0.02%,Cr-22.32%,
Mo-8.93%, Nb-3.53%, Ni-64.10%,Fe-0.439%,P-0.001%,S-0.001%,Cu-0.039%,Ti-0.181% &Al-0.127%
Dear Karthik Sir,
Thank you for the correction,I had mistakenly typed QW.422 instead of QW.442
I have reviewed ASME QW.422 'A' No. section and couldn't find any matching chemistry with above mentioned chemical composition.
In this case,In the A-No column of WPS, what I have to write? N/A or Nil?
Regards,
Limesh
