Yesterday:
Monarchs - 2 - hopefully these are "wild" and not related to the ones raised by the woman down the street-
Tiger Swallowtail - 2
American Lady - 1, fairly fresh
Peck's skipper - 2
Spicebush swallowtail - 1
Black Swallowtail - 1 M
Today:
Monarchs - 2
Tiger Swallowtail - 1
American Lady - 1, worn
Peck's skipper - 2
Black Swallowtail - 1 F-- didn't oviposit on the fennel as they usually do perhaps because it was dry- used parsley instead
I am wondering if the problem with the last batch of Monarch cats I had, was that they were the "grandchildren" of the ones the woman down the street had raised, and had interbred, causing issues or heavy OE if the original ones had some OE. Apparently the one "grandchild" she raised also did not emerge from its chrysalis.
