Hi,
Today at Boston Nature Center from 12:45-2:20PM, I saw the following butterflies:
8 Monarchs on Marigolds and Zinnias
2 American Copper
1 Eastern Tailed-blue
6 Cabbage White
1 Orange Sulphur
Tansy, New England Aster, White Aster, Fleabane Daisy, Red Clover, and a few Queen-Anne's Lace plants were blooming in the large field, where several new paths have been cut, making it easier to check many more spots for butterflies. The Clark-Cooper Community Gardens are still going strong with Zinnias, Dahlias, Marigolds, Cosmos, Dock and several Fall vegetables and herbs.
Sunny, 55-58 degrees, a gorgeous Fall day
