Today I went west with Mike Newton and we met Tom Gagnon in
Northampton and proceeded west to Mt. Greylock.

Along the way we stopped to pick up lunch in Cummington and saw:

Cabbage White - 1
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail - 1
Canadian Tiger Swallowtail - 2
Eastern Comma - 1
European Skipper - 2
Hobomok Skipper - 1

On Mt. Greylock at various locations in Williamstown we saw:

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail - 10
Canadian Tiger Swallowtail - 3
Other Tiger Swallowtails - 187
Cabbage White - 3
Orange Sulphur - 1
Summer Azure - 1
Great Spangled Fritillary - 2
Atlantis Fritillary - 37
Mourning Cloak - 1
MILBERT'S TORTOISESHELL - 4
Red Admiral - 7
White Admiral - 13
Red-spotted Purple - 4
Common Ringlet - 41
Monarch - 1
European Skipper - 18
Peck's Skipper - 1
Long Dash - 1
Hobomok Skipper - 4

After lunch in south of Mt. Greylock we had:

Acadian Hairstreak - 8
Pearl Crescent - 1
Common Ringlet - 5
European Skipper - 6
Peck's Skipper - 2

At the Moran Refuge in Windsor we saw:

Tiger Swallowtail - 2
Orange Sulphur - 1
Atlantis Fritillary - 2
Mourning Cloak - 1
White Admiral - 1
Red-spotted Purple - 1
Common Ringlet - 11
Arctic Skipper - 1 (well worn, probably won't survive the night - it
was black and white - no orange)
European Skipper - 3

Finally late in the day at Graves Farm in Williamsburg we saw:

Banded Hairstreak - 1 (very fresh)
Red-spotted Purple - 1
European Skipper - 4
Long Dash - 1
