Today at Mass Audubon Boston Nature Center, Mattapan, Ma, from 1:15-2:30:

In the fields:

1 Pearl Crescent (FOY)

15 Cabbage White

In Clark Cooper Community Gardens:

15 Cabbage White

Apparently, there is a Kildeer nest in one of the garden plots. The birds were calling loudly and using the "broken-wing act" to warn people who were cleaning out their gardens, as well as people who were counting butterflies, not to get too close.
