Hi Folks,

I am still limping along with my Indian butterfly photos. The end is in sight, but so is the beginning of the spring butterfly [and desert wildflower] season in Southern California. It will be close, but I hope to finish before being overwhelmed again.

Below is the link to the best photo I was able to muster of Banded Blue Pierrot, Discolampa ethion. This was somewhere between Periyar and Thattekad on November 2, 2015. "Pierrot" butterflies [several genera] do not have a counterpart in North America, so they look exotic to me. And I suppose they are.
