These are the images I’ve chosen for my butterfly calendar for 2018: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmap3bjs . I took some of them only a few weeks ago. Others have been patiently waiting for their turn in the spotlight for years - sometimes a photo grows on me slowly over time, I guess. But in any event, they are all personal favorites, taken in Massachusetts, Texas, California and New York.
