Jamaica Plain, Ma butterflies, 10/17/18

Hi,

Today at Arnold Arboretum, mostly in or near Kent Field, from 12:40-3PM, I saw the following species:

1 Monarch (fresh female)

25 American Copper

2 Orange Sulphur (one was a white form)

2 Cabbage White

3 Banded Woolly Bear caterpillars

Last year in the middle of October, I photographed both sides of a White-M Hairstreak on the Mountain mint in Kent Field, but I was not that lucky today.

Sunny, windy, 58-63 degrees, another beautiful Fall day.
