Monarch and Black Swallowtail Ovipositing in Williamsburg

While hosting a farm and garden tour for our library here at Flower Hill Farm Retreat in Williamsburg I saw several species. I saw more than one of each but cannot be sure they were not the same ones since I was sitting in one place and not walking around - except for the beginning ten mins. 

July 23, 2016
10 - 2   HOT  except in the shade

1 Monarch
1 Black Swallowtail   ovipositing on wild carrot - found one egg
1 Little Wood Satyr
1 American Copper
2 Skipper -- saw them both at the same time on echinacea 
1 Tiger Swallowtail
