Spring really is here. The sandy soil has provided a massive show of pin cherry blossoms and scrub oak "hanging yellow-green chandeliers" tinged with pink. And lupine, star flower, sheep sorrel, wild Sarsaparilla, assorted berries and many others I have yet to put a name to.
List of the more outstanding leps:
Karner Blue, although a scarcity here so far
Eastern Tailed Blue
Azure
Black Swallowtail
Spicebush Swallowtail
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Mottled Duskywing
Wild Indigo Duskywing
Juvenal Duskywing
Gray hairstreak
Bring it on!
