Back from Maine

Chery and I are just back from 4 more days in Maine where butterflies  were scarce again ( a few Monarchs and one Banded Purple). Just the same had enough time, once home and gardens were watered, to sit on the greenhouse deck overlooking the Butterfly bushes with our evening sip and see….

Black swt                                           4 (One female depositing eggs on very small Wild Carrot plants, and one new cat on Rue)

Monarch                                            3 ( One more released here from the eclosure cage while in Maine)

Clouded Sulphur                               1

Viceroy                                              1 (See pic on Hummingbird feeder)
