Ferry Colors & Realtime Data

Hello,

1.  Does the MBTA Realtime API support route predictions or location of vehicles for ferry service? 

2.  Is there a preferred color for the three ferry lines?  The fields "route_color" and "route_text_color" are not specified in MBTA-GTFS "routes.txt".

I am currently using 0x006666 as the route color with white text:

Hi Drew,

1. We do not currently support locations or predictions for ferry routes. We hope to add such data in the future, but currently there is no particular timeline for implementation.

2. Thanks for pointing out the missing colors. For ferry routes, route_color should be 5DA9E8 and route_text_color should be FFFFFF. We will make this change in the GTFS file itself soon.
