Peter, try Wingdings2 cell F25.

You are looking for 'character map'. On Win7 it is start/programs/accessories/system tools/character map.
However I show Windings2 - 0xF25 as scissors.

Ignore my last.
In mapinfo choose symbol picker and select font wingdings 2 and choose f25. (it is also in character map as 0xE5)
