I'm beginner in R and it's the firs time I use dplyr package. My espectations when I used arrange fonction were to sort both of Sepal.Length and Sepal.Width in adescending order .

It's functioning properly.  Your code tells it to arrange iris2 in ascending order first by Sepal.Length and then break ties with Sepal.Width.
