All fair points John.

If we can help reduce the numbers of paid staff needed (without starting a union war…) I'm sure some of us could be at MOSI early to help direct makers and police entry etc.

Friday from 9am is fine but very early Saturday is tricky. I'll try but unfortunately this all has financial implications. That's because mosi has to pay staff to open any non standard extra hours. We're at the budget limit for the event already and the mosi core team of 3 can't do so many extra hours that we keel over and get sick.

Let me discuss this with Julie and our front of house team.

Another one for needing an earlier start than 8:30 on Saturday, I think 7
would be ideal.

Things can take a long time setup, especially for the people who can't
afford to stay two nights.

Thanks
Andy

Hello Andy,

I was thinking it would be great to be able to set up throughout the day on
Friday (9am-6/7pm?) and be able to come in at least a few hours before
everything starts on the Saturday.

Thanks,
Stuart

I'd be very happy to volunteer with any aspect of work leading up to and during the exhibition if that helps.
I've done probably over 100 different fairs and markets in the last 2 and a half years and have a good idea of what's needed and how much encouragement and assistance helps each "exhibitor".
